2007-2008 Gadab Foundation Graduate Scholarship Recipients
Congratulations!!!!
Gadab Foundation is tremendously excited and proud to announce the Gadab Foundation Graduate Scholarship winners for 2007-08. The winners are: Mohammed Hasan of Makelle University and Sorome Abashu from Haromaya University. These students were selected based on their personal statement, recommendation letters, academic aptitude and achievement as well as financial need. Furthermore, they have demonstrated potential for making a significant contribution to their society at large.

**** It is with sincere regret that we inform all other applicants that they were not chosen to receive the Gadab Foundation Graduate Scholarship for the 2007-2008 year. We received a large number of applications and the Scholarship Committees were impressed with all applicants. However, considering our financial status, we were only able to select two students for this year. The Committee sincerely hopes you will be able to continue your education and wishes you much luck in achieving your dreams. ****

Distribution of scholarship The scholarship will be disbursed every semester if a 3.3 GPA is maintained. The money can be used for books, supplies, tuition as well as personal use such as clothing, transportations meals etc.
In order to receive the scholarship the students must:
- send a copy of semester schedule of classes from the university in which they are enrolled
- provide mailing address as well as the contact information of the university’s admission office
- submit official academic transcript at the end of each semester
- be a full time student with good academic standing.
The Foundation would like to congratulate the Gadab Foundation Scholarship recipients on earning this comparative scholarship. We are, once again, very excited and thrilled to award these outstanding students who we believed have the potential to change their society.
